Excellent property. Very comfortable, modern and well furnished. Matt and Del were brilliant hosts and provided a lot of information about the local and surrounding area which really helped with planning additional places to see. Breakfast was great, with very generous portions and a good variety of options. Bed was very comfy and the room was well stocked with nice treats etc on arrival. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The Village Inn pub was nice, about 5 minutes on foot as you turn left out of the property.

A very warm welcome from Matt who cooked a breakfast to die for with local produce which was presented beautifully on a trolley for private room dining experience in your own Lochside lounge area. The room was lovely: very comfy bed with lovely crisp white linen; immaculately clean with White Company toiletries including a bedtime pillow spray (a super touch). Although the shower room was very small it was beautifully decorated with everything you needed. Matt was a convivial host eager to share his love of Scotland. This stay was a total pleasure.

This is the second time we have stayed at the property and we are never disappointed. Matt and Del are the most amazing hosts and their time in hospitality clearly shines through in their thoughtful touches. Toiletries are of a really high standard, nespresso machine and pods, wonderful welcome platter. The scotch was particularly appreciated by Lisbeth! Cassie the Collie absolutely enjoyed herself. You must go to Cu Mara the takeaway and soon to be bistro down the road. The burgers and pizzas are just delicious! The packaging is just wonderful. I could have eaten the skin on fries over and over again!

Wow! What a find! We stayed overnight on our way to Oban to catch the ferry to Mull. Delightful room with so many lovely touches. We (and the dogs) were made to feel welcome and nothing seemed too much trouble. We ate an ok meal at the local pub before a good nights sleep. Breakfast was a feast! Better than many a decent hotel we’ve stayed in - well done! An absolute gem. Thank you

We stayed at An Corr for two nights and loved it. Matt and Derek are such lovely people and cannot do enough for you. The room has a cosy lounge area to the front with amazing views over the Loch. It’s a really peaceful place to stay. The breakfast was also amazing! Beautifully presented and delicious. Could not ask for anything more.

We would recommend Cu Mara that the owners of An Còrr have recently opened! The pizzas are amazing! It’s takeaway at the moment with the restaurant opening soon and we ordered from there both evenings. The village inn beer garden is also lovely for a drink with great views.

Wonderful B&B in a perfect location. The rooms have everything you could possibly want from a coffee machine and White Company products to Sky and Netflix on the tv and spectacular views of Loch Long and the Cobbler. Lovely quiet comfortable place on a not very busy road, with delightful hosts who really demonstrate genuine hospitality in the truest sense of the word. Easy parking Cake and a wee dram on arrival was a nice touch. We felt instantly relaxed! Bed extremely comfortable with quality linen, perfect after a long drive. Breakfast was excellent with good choice and of high quality and variety (I recommend the bacon wrapped Asparagus with Duck egg!), served with style in our room. Regret we were only passing through this time but plan to return to explore the area a bit more. The new coffee shop and takeaway, and soon to be bistro, just down the road is really handy with great snacks and coffee (under the same ownership).

Bring your fishing rod and dangle it off the jetty just in front of the cottage. The Village Inn is a short walk away for a pint and a meal, although looks like it might get busy at the weekends when Covid restrictions are lifted.

This is simply the best B&B we have every stayed in, and we have stayed in quite a few over the years. We would liken the experience to a high end London hotel, but in the picturesque setting of Arrochar, complete with high quality linens, towels, mattress topper and toiletries. The breakfast options are varied and well thought out. The food is out of this world - first class. We have stayed twice and each time it has been great. The last time was as we were on route to get married in Scotland, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of a bottle of Prosecco being placed in our room upon arrival. 5 star!

The An Corr experience is top quality, from the warm welcome to the panoramic view from our window, to the exquisite complimentary afternoon tea on our arrival, to the fabulous and delicious breakfast menu. Not many B&Bs truly deserve a 5-star accolade, but this one does. Very highly recommended.

Have lunch in the Ben Arthur Bothy which is a no-nonsense and friendly cafe serving excellent food. Serious walkers can ascend the Cobbler (Ben Arthur) with its twisted, craggy peaks, and danderers can do the loop walk (3.5 miles) from Arrochar to Tarbet with fine views of the surrounding hills and Loch Lomond.

Probably the best place we have ever stayed in. The room was spectacular and the food was better than most restaurants we've been to. Matt was absolutely lovely, and made sure we had everything we needed and gave a lot of info about the local area.

We went during half term when An Corr was offering dinners. I hope they decide to keep offering even after the holidays because of the convenience. Plus with such an amazing view from the dinner table, you'll want to soak it up as many times in the day as you can.

Superb B&B, very stylish and comfortable interior but with a homely feel. Matt and Derek are superb hosts and looked after us extremely well with breakfast and dinner, as Scotland had just closed all its pubs and restaurants for 2 weeks. Matt is a great chef and the food was delicious. The cheese dome and whisky dram on arrival was a really nice touch. We regrettably only stayed one night but it was such a relaxing stay and we really enjoyed breakfast and dinner in our room with a view over the Loch. Perfect!

We had the loveliest stay! The location was amazing and the perfect first night in Scotland. The room was lovely with everything we needed and super convenient, right down to the usb plugs by the bed. We loved the netflix ready to use too! The adaptations made for COVID were impressive and we enjoyed having the view of the loch with breakfast. The food was delicious and better than I've eaten in restaurants! The cheese and whiskey on arrival was extremely thoughtful and really appreciated. Overall, we literally couldn't fault the stay! We would definitely recommend and hopefully will come back in the summer.

An Corr was a perfect place for us to end our holiday in Scotland. The location was beautiful and the service, rooms and food were all to match. Our room was set out so nicely with plenty of space to relax, eat and sleep. We had lots of space for our dog too. The little extras in our room each day from cheeses to sweet treats were so special and really appreciated. The white company toilettries are a lovely touch and all the little details in the rooms were great. Matt and Del were so friendly and helpful.

Visit the Village Inn for dinner and drinks but make sure to book in advance. Walk to tarbet and catch the loch lomond cruise to inversnaid. A number of other hotels that do decent food and welcome you for drinks only.

From arriving to a tiered platter with whisky, cheese & biscuits, with pod coffee machine in the room with a flask of cold milk, all set out at a private dining table in your room with a huge picture window to look out onto the loch; we felt relaxed. It is decorated with style and everything has been considered, even to the extent of 3 different pillows to choose from (soft feather, medium or big & firm). Lovely White Co. toiletries & bedding. Harris tweed accessories. Slept really well, then came the breakfast trolley! Fabulous food, best breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel. But it was huge so take your time. Well done, definitely 10/10 for everything. Will come again on next road trip! If you would consider offering a single (Meat/fish/veggie choice dinner menu, that would have been incredible!!!

It was COVID time, so maybe less choice available, so suggest you do book before you come to Arrochar. Had dinner in pub down road The Village Inn. Not great food but personable staff, good beer and great view from the beer garden at the front.

Our hosts were so very helpful, our room was lovely on both occasions - tastefully decorated and with the most comfortable of beds. The attention to detail paid to guest comfort was exceptional. This is the best b&b I’ve ever stayed at - far better than many 5 star hotels. Not only does the rooms have Breath taking views, but the attention to detail is amazing - White company toiletries, sleep spray, the beds & bedding are outstanding quality & so comfortable. The little things that make such a difference, like usb points at both sides of the bed, and a huge tv. A welcome drink of whisky & cheese is such a lovely touch & a good quality coffee machine. The breakfast was absolutely delicious- so much choice & cooked to perfection. The hosts derek & Matt were so welcoming, and haVe the perfect balance of genuine interest & want to help in any way they can, but also give you space to enjoy your surroundings. Our stay from start to finish was completely perfect. The B&B is in the most stunning location with views right across Loch Long. The room was immaculate with lots of thoughtful little touches, like a cheeseboard and whisky waiting for us on arrival, The White Company toiletries and scented pillow spray! We brought our dog with us and he was made to feel very welcome and they even left out a little jar of doggy biscuits for him. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had! I had the french toast with fruit and my partner had the full Scottish breakfast with muesli, everything was delicious. My partner and I both agreed this is the best B&B we've ever stayed in. The hosts were genuinely lovely, couldn't fault a thing and we will definitely be back. Truly the only negative was that we couldn't stay longer! Thank you both for a wonderful stay.

We had dinner at The Village Inn, it's a stones throw from the B&B and very cute and cozy. I was glad we had booked a table in advance as I could see many people getting turned away at the door as they were fully booked. Lovely beer garden to enjoy views over the loch in nice weather too! And dog friendly. We also did a walk up to see a waterfall behind the B&B which was lovely with stunning views, it was recommended to us by the host and it didn't disappoint!

just what I needed...a very relaxing chilled stay in a stunningly beautiful home with amazing views from the bedroom window. the best b&b we have stayed in and with all the lovely touches in the room such as hot water bottle, coffee machine, harris tweed cushions, magazines and white company toiletries; it really does exceed expectations and would give boutique hotel rooms a run for their money! on arrival the offer of a wee dram and beautifully presented cheese & biscuits was perfect! Matt is a lovely host who cooks a delicious breakfast (best breakfast menu we have seen) and not forgetting it is dog friendly too...amazing!! cant wait to go back.

Matt was a great host and the welcome was first class - cheese crackers and a wee whiskey, what's not to like. Great location, stunning views and the breakfast was the equal of anything we've ever had, including in some top hotels.

Excellent location, room and general experience. Matt and Derek were extremely lovely and attentive hosts. Amazing breakfasts and little extra touches left for us when we were out on walks. We have nothing at all to complain about, but the only tiny thing we would improve is lampshades on the bed lights, they were very bright!

In winter you’d probably benefit from a car as not a heap to do in Arrochar if you’re by foot. Lovely little village though and lovely to see the surrounding areas.

Extremely attentive and plenty of little extras to make our stay perfect for us and our dog.We were able to try most of the options for breakfast, fantastic variety and all delicious, returning from our walks to find more treats waiting for us in our room. We had plenty of good advice about where to go as well as local top tips either by conversation or notes left in our room.

We stayed 3 nights as it was a great base to explore from.

We cannot thank you enough for a really lovely stay at An Corr. Having arrived from an amazing few days exploring Kintyre, we couldn't have had a better end to our holiday. Our pup Button very much appreciated the dog treats on arrival, and we loved being welcomed with a dram as well as cheese and crackers. Your rooms are just beautifully decorated, and you have clearly spent a great deal of time thinking about the small details - sumptuous soft duvet, crisp linens, fluffy towels, a super (hot) shower and a great big tv to watch films on. We both agreed the bed was super comfy, bliss. Waking to the stunning views of Arrochar and Loch Long, and possibly the best breakfast *ever*, made this a truly memorable stay. We can't wait to come back next December to stay with you (and your lovely pup Ben). We are torn between recommending you to everyone - which of course we will do - and keeping your place a bit of a secret! Keep doing what you do so well - you have created something special.

We had a meal in the local pub, along with a decent pint, only a 5 minute stroll away. We look forward to exploring the area further when we next visit

Matthew, As we told you, we spent a very pleasant time at An Corr. We want to thank you once again for your kindness and your smile. Your home is a very nice place to stay. You seem to really appreciate welcoming people and it was a nice feeling for us. Our bedroom was very well decorated, comfortable and equiped. Althouh the night has come, we appreciated walking along the loch, watching and listening to the birds. The next morning, the view through the window, on the loch and the 2 "ben" was great. We went to the Mansfield studio, but it was closed. A few miles away, we went to Inveraray. The little town is so nice and the castle is beautiful. At this period of the year, it was closed for visit, but we can walk into the park, around the castle. We went to the city of Sterling too, which is a nice place to visit.

I am going to regret saying this as we both would love to come back for a longer stay but I think you need to put your prices up! The whole experience was incredible, from the cheese and whisky welcome, to the coffees, the outrageously tasty and immaculately presented breakfast and not to mention the attention to detail and superbly stylish rooms!

The Village Inn was great and very wholesome and the trip to the local whisky store in the village across the next Loch was also great! We wish we had more time to experience some of the other great places around.

This is a truly exceptional B&B. The added little touches of whisky on arrival and cakes after a long walk were lovely. Our hosts Derek and Matt couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is the best I've ever had and I've stayed in many boutique and chain hotels, outstanding. I would definitely recommend An Corr and will certainly return.

The village inn next door was fabulous for an evening meal and Matt and Derek were Able to point us in the right direction with maps and local info regarding the vast number of walks and hikes on the doorstep.

Perfection! It was sublime, in every (!) detail. To keep it somewhat short I'll stick to the basics: Bed & Breakfast. The bed : heavenly. High quality super soft sheets, perfect duvet and a cloudlike mattress which offers perfect support. I slept like a queen. The breakfast : mindblowingly exquisite. It was nearly impossible to choose from the menu. I could have stayed a whole week and have a different breakfast every morning. I chose to have breakfast in my private lounge, overlooking the loch and mountains. Oh boy. Breakfast was served by chef Matt, in a stylish chefs' uniform. I had 3 courses. Each and everyone was mouthwatering. Beautifully presented, high quality ingredients and gloriously harmonious. I realize I am throwing superlatives by the buckets, but you will find I still do the experience unjustice. I must add that Derek and Matt are perfect hosts. Welcoming, warm, thoughtful, friendly and professional. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Fantastic service from the start, the cheese board and ‘wee dram’ on arrival was a great touch and most welcome after a long drive. Beautiful room with a great view over Loch Long. Breakfast was amazing! We were full after the starter but took our time and enjoyed every bit of it, sat in the window watching the mist rolling across the Loch. Matt and Derek were excellent hosts and very helpful. We can not recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning B&B. Every single thing is thought of by the people who own it. You want for nothing!! The room was immaculate, snacks, tea, coffee, iron, ironing board, the white company toiletries all ready and waiting for you. Printed us a map and directions for some amazing sights for us! And the breakfast..... wowzers!

We had 2 nice dinners in the pub/restaurant just down the road called the village inn. Reserve in advance as it gets quite busy.

I was looking for a number 6 rating, because that's the only way to describe this place. From the moment you arrive you are totally looked after, from the welcome "wee dram" to the finest Scottish breakfast anyone could ask for, which can be enjoyed in your room which overlooks the loch. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to ensure that your stay is a comfortable one, beautiful surroundings are complemented with luxurious goodies to enjoy and savour. Cannot recommend this highly enough and we'll be back for sure!

We stayed two nights - one week apart and had excellent service in this lovely B&B. The layout of bedroom with 'en-suite' sitting area (and of course en-suite shower-rrrom/toilet) is ideal - giving somewhere to sit in comfort. Internet, Sky and Netlix give all the entertainment you need too. Food is excellent and the owners are nice, friendly, helpful and versatile people (guillemot rescue!!) Thanks

The Village Inn is a reasonable place to eat - not outstanding but ok and very convenient but ask the owners for their tips. Didn't try other fscilities but Ben Arthur's Bothy is recommended. Bring binoculars for the views and bird-life.

Matt is an exceptional host and gave us a lovely warm welcome with whisky and cheese! The room was incredible, attention to detail and the little Scottish touches were fabulous. Exceeded all our expectations on every level. Wonderfully warm (and thoughtful) welcome, lovely decor, very comfortable bed with high quality linens and bedding, large shower with plenty of hot water and high quality toiletries and a superb breakfast to round off our stay. What more could you possibly want from a small B&B? We have stayed in some very good (and expensive) hotels whose customer service and catering have come up short compared to An Còrr. We really couldn't fault the place.

We ate at the Village Inn in the evening, which we also enjoyed very much. If you're interested in Charles Rennie Macintosh, Hill House is an easy 30 minute drive away.
