The Argyll Hotel in Bellochantuy,10 miles north of Campbeltown on the beautiful Kintyre peninsula. This small hotel has eight bedrooms,most boasting sea views of the Atlantic acorss to the islands of Islay, Jura and Gigha. The conservatory restaurant and lounge area has panoramic views of the ocean and islands too. A great place to chill and relax and of course to eat. The outdoor terrace with seating leads onto the white sandy beach of the curved bay where you can walk off your dinner. It is a great place too to walk your dog. The hotel dates back to the late nineteenth century when it was built as a coaching inn and has remained as a hotel to this day. Modernised over the years the hotel still retains the feel of a traditional west coast hotel with is cosy snug bar but has the modern convienences of ensuite rooms with tv, free wi-fi access and an affordable seaview restaurant meaning you do not have to leave the comfort of the hotel. Barriemore is 4* (VISIT SCOTLAND),situated in the beautiful West coast town, Oban. We are situated directly on the seafront, enjoying terrific views of Oban Bay, the islands beyond and the wildlife around us. We offer comfortable and modern rooms on a room only basis within a stunning Victorian building. We have parking for all rooms, free wifi. All rooms are ensuite. All rooms sleep 2 maximum with the exception of our sea view self catering apartment which sleeps 4. We have no additional beds. Cots are for infants in UK. They are not extra beds for older children/adults. Rooms are available as ROOM ONLY ACCOMMODATION. The conservatory lounge is a cosy and bright space to enjoy the sea views and relax. We have steps from the carpark to the main front door but can provide level access for wheelchair users via a side door. We have 2 ground floor rooms. We do not have a lift. Hide

Friendly, family run B and B with lovely views over the Kyles of Bute. Pretty shoreline village within ten minutes walk with shops, tea rooms, Post Office and several Hotel/Pubs. All rooms are en-suite with showers and flat screen TV and Tea making facilities. Free WiFi. There are many beautiful walks and attractions nearby, and the busy little town of Dunoon is a forty minute drive away. Ideally placed for cyclists on the Five Ferries Challenge and for walkers on The Cowal Way. Ferry crossings to Bute from Colintraive and from Portavadie to the Mull of Kintyre (and from there on to Islay). Hide
