13th May 2023:
Craig was a very hospitable host. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Craig was really informative and helpful. The studio itself was clean, fresh and decorated nicely. Very comfortable and had everything we needed in a very attractive area with beautiful views. Studio was easy to find and set in a quiet area which was visited by red squirrel and deer during our stay. Great value for money and cannot fault anything. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Tips:Must visit: Lauder monument, Rest and Be Thankful, Inveraray, quick ferry boat ride from Colintraive to Rhubodach and visit Ettrick Bay, McCaig’s Tower/Folly in Oban, Ganavan Sands, St Conan’s Kirk at Lochawe. Places to eat: The Slanj at Tarbet, Poppies just outside Oban, Oban Chocolate Company (all dog friendly)!

Perfect base for the peninsula. Hosts were extremely helpful and attentive. The Stable Studio is beautifully set out. On a scale of 1 to 10 it's got to be a Spinal Tap moment and goes right up to 11.
Tips:First time to the peninsula. Ideal for walking and beaches. Easy ferry access to the Isle of Bute. Puck's Glen is the stuff of fairytales.

Could not have been looked after better. Thanks. Accommodation was perfect and everything we needed plus. We valued your friendship and loved your dogs. Our Meg was depressed when we got back!
Tips:We did not eat out much. In melon was a lovely place to walk with beach etc. walks along the front in Dunoon. Many places to reach eg Inverary!

6th September 2022:
We had a fabulous week with our Cocker Spaniel pup. Craig and Jacqui were lovely hosts and couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. It was the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area.
Tips:We were really lucky during our stay and had lots of sunshine. The beach at Ettrick Bay on the Isle of Bute was lovely with a little cafe for drinks, food and loos. There are several first walks, our favourite being Puck's Glen with waterfalls. We had several lovely meals out the best being at the Oyster Bar at Loch Fyne

15th August 2022:
This was an ideal location for us. We were within walking distance of the local amenities, but tucked out of the way to ensure peace and quiet at night time. The studio is spotless and well - equipped with everything you could possibly need and more! The layout was well thought out with lots of attention to detail, a real home from home. Our hosts were really helpful and checked up on us to see if we needed anything, offering suggestions on things to do and see, even bringing us chocolate when we had run out of our supply!
Tips:There is plenty to see and do in the area. We were on motorbikes so Dunoon was a good base to explore the local and outlying area, with options for us to go out and about on foot too. There are places to eat locally. In town we liked the 51st State Diner, we did try to get in the Lorne but it was fully booked (it's a good idea to book ahead, as we found when just turning up on the off chance!) The Coylet Inn was lovely, we had a great table in the bay window overlooking the water. I highly recommend this place to eat. We absolutely loved the local forestry walks in the area, well managed footpaths with signage so no danger of getting lost! Pucks Glen, Kilmun arboretum and Benmore Botanic Gardens were stunningly beautiful places and right on the doorstep. Craig pointed us in the right direction for a lot of these things when he "sussed out" what we liked to do and where our interests lay. He kindly suggested a trip on The Waverley paddle steamer, the oldest surviving sea going paddle steamer in the UK. We went on the short cruise on the Friday before our departure on the Saturday which finished our week's break perfectly.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay here Craig and Jacqui couldnt have done more, they provide everything you could need from dog treats to midge repellent and so much more. There wasn't anything we needed we didnt find supplied. We will definitely come again. It goes without saying an immaculately clean room, with a comfy bed, beautifully smelling linen and towels and everything you could possibly need.
Tips:Some places we visited that are 100% worth the travel some near or within an hour drive. The blairmore, amazing lunch and cakes to die for and have cakes specifically made for dogs. We had a lovely takeaway from the Rio restaurant. Sruth ban falls is a bit of a trek uphill for 45mins after visiting Lochgoilhead but well worth it and we were lucky to see a golden eagle. Its not very well signposted, ask about the lovely locals will help. Bishops glen is also a lovely walk with the pooch as is ardentinny beach and woods.
