18th August 2023:
Excellent value for money and friendly staff. Location was perfect for sightseeing, bars, restaurants and ideal short walk to ferries to explore nearby islands.
Tips:Would recommend Mc Craig’s tower steep 15min walk but worth it for view ( parking available if unable to walk). The museum was fascinating but would leave ourselves longer to go round it all - free but can donate if you want. Had a meal in Indian and Chinese restaurants, 5min walk on same side of street as hotel and both were great, fish restaurant at harbour was tasty enough but a bit overpriced. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only thing would do differently is leave the car at home as not needed and use train or bus 👍.

Very central accommodation in a quiet location! Staff were friendly and helpful. The separate bathroom was enormous and spotless! Very adequate accommodation for 3 adults!
Tips:My family thouroighly enjoyed wandering the quaint streets in Oban. We enjoyed 2 nights in different restaurants for supper and had plenty to choose from! The highlight of our trip was the Three Isles Tour to Mull, Iona and Staffa, exceptional!!

We booked last minute and only required a bed as catching the first ferry out of Oban. Easy to find, friendly staff. Only drawback was the shared bathroom but we knew this before booking. This was right next door and better than expected.
Tips:On main street so easy to find. Very close to free overnight parking and a short walk to pubs, restaurants and shops.

26th August 2016:
I liked the environment, and staff were friendly and helpful. I understand the difficulties of running a small business, but feel that it's important for visitors to be able to check in until late, especially in line with transport timetables. I think it's important to have en-suite bathroom facilities, especially for double rooms

Owner Response:Dear Guest,Thank you for your comments. We are happy to arrange for late arrival, and do so on a regular basis. We do have ensuite rooms, and some cheaper rooms which are not ensuite, but only share a bathroom with one other room. These description are made very clear online so that guests can decide which room they want to book. Having booked a room with a shared bathroom, we do not feel it is acceptable to give us a low score for facilities. Regards St Annes

The room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. Staff were very helpful with suggestions of places to eat and visit. Well done.
Tips:O'Donnell's Irish bar is part of the package so a complementary drink is on offer - well appreciated. The Oban Mic night is great fun.

We enjoyed our stay at St Anne's. Room was clean although we had to ask for more toilet roll as there was hardly any when we arrived. There also was only one cup for tea when there was 2 of us and no shower gel or soap but we still felt it was value for money and quite comfortable accommodation.
